The PRIOR Seminar aimed to provide prospective retirees with holistic preparation for civilian retirement through expert-led technical sessions covering social security, health and wellness, financial management, and post-retirement opportunities.

Representatives from key welfare agencies delivered comprehensive technical briefings on navigating benefit claims and retirement procedures. The sessions featured expert insights from Mr. Troy Palermo (Government Service Insurance System - GSIS), Ms. Jia Fatima Mah (Pag-IBIG Fund), Mr. Arnelle Besinga (Social Security System - SSS), and Ms. Febie Suello De Guzman (PhilHealth).

Ms. Lyza D. Trapal from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) led a practical financial literacy session focusing on smart wealth management, post-retirement enterprise options, and sustainable venture planning.

Dr. Jumer C. Carlon, Medical Officer III of the DepEd Caraga Regional Office, led dedicated sessions on maintaining physical health, protecting mental well-being, and managing the personal and social adjustments that come with transitioning into post-government life.

Through initiatives like the PRIOR Seminar, DepEd Caraga reaffirms its commitment to honoring its dedicated workforce by equipping them with the knowledge and tools necessary to thrive in their post-service years.
