Rather than requiring families to visit different government offices to access basic services, the initiative brought key government agencies and service providers together in school communities, making assistance more accessible, convenient, and responsive.

Simultaneous activities were held at Cuarenta Elementary School in the Dinagat Islands Division; Surigao del Norte National High School in the Surigao del Norte Division; Agusan del Sur National High School in the Agusan del Sur Division; Remedios T. Romualdez Central Elementary School in the Agusan del Norte Division; and Barobo Central Elementary School in the Surigao del Sur Division.

The activities were spearheaded and facilitated by DepEd Health Personnel, School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD), and Division Chiefs, working alongside partner agencies including PhilHealth, Local Government Unit Municipal Health Offices (LGU-MHO), Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), and Department of Health (DOH).

With different government services made available in a single venue, the activity demonstrated the value of bringing government to the communities instead of making communities go from office to office. This approach is particularly significant for families who may have limited time, resources, or mobility to access government assistance.

Beyond the delivery of services, Handog ng Pangulo underscored the strategic role of schools as community-centered spaces where government can directly connect with the people it serves. Through stronger inter-agency collaboration, schools become bridges that link learners and families to programs designed to support their health, welfare, and overall well-being.The simultaneous implementation across five schools also highlighted the power of government working as one. By pooling resources, expertise, and services, participating agencies were able to extend assistance farther and make public service more visible and accessible at the community level.

For DepEd Caraga, the initiative reinforces its commitment to ensuring that education goes beyond the classroom and contributes to the broader well-being of learners, families, and communities.

Handog ng Pangulo: Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat embodies a simple but powerful principle of public service: government services must reach the people who need them.

In Caraga, that commitment was made visible as essential services were brought directly to communities, reaffirming the shared goal of leaving no learner and no community behind.
