Speaking before Caraga education leaders composed of Schools Division Superintendents, Assistant Schools Division Superintendents, chiefs of the SGOD, CID, and the regional Functional Divisions, gathered at the Bislig City Convention Center, Escobarte emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in addressing field concerns and ensuring that schools remain safe, nurturing, and progressive environments for learners.

“Our gathering today in Bislig City comes at a vital time as we push for greater operational efficiency and stronger delivery of basic education across the region,” Escobarte said.

He said the meeting provides an opportunity for the Regional Office and Schools Division Offices to align local strategies with national mandates while addressing concerns arising from the field.

Escobarte encouraged the education leaders to actively participate in discussions and share insights from their respective divisions, stressing that meaningful collaboration is essential to making sound decisions.

“The weight of our shared responsibility demands honest collaboration,” he said, calling on the participants to contribute their experiences and perspectives in developing responsive strategies for the region.

He underscored the importance of making data-driven decisions that translate into tangible improvements in the quality of education delivered to every Caraganon learner.

The Assistant Regional Director also welcomed the participants and expressed his appreciation to SDO Bislig City for hosting the gathering and providing a warm reception.

He likewise acknowledged the commitment of education leaders and personnel to the Department of Education’s mission.

“Thank you to SDO Bislig City for the warm reception, and thank you all for your unwavering commitment to our mission,” Escobarte said.

He concluded by expressing hope for a productive meeting that would further strengthen coordination and collective action among the Regional Office and the region’s Schools Division Offices.
